EcosimPro is a first class modelling and simulation software for modeling 0D or 1D multidisciplinary continuous-discrete systems and any kind of system based on differential-algebraic equations (DAE) and discrete events.
EcosimPro has been designed to carry out steady and transient studies, as an optimization and design tool that helps the engineer to improve any kind of system modeled with equations (0D and 1D). It also provides a highly intuitive graphics environment that facilitates its use in creating physical models based on schematic views.
The multidisciplinary libraries allow components to be created that mix disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, fluids, control, etc. For advanced users EcosimPro provides an intuitive modeling language to guide the user through the process of creating new component libraries in a simple way. EcosimPro has internal symbolic and numerical algorithms for transforming the equations and solving them in the most appropriate way. The object oriented approach prevents having to re-code simulation applications every time you need to begin a new project. The user can mix causal and acausal equations and algorithms in order to find the most reusable and robust way of modeling your libraries.The components can use inheritance and aggregation to create more sophisticated components based on existing ones. This helps to reduce the complexity of the simulation models by sharing common behaviour.
PROOSIS is a standalone, multi‑platform, object‑oriented environment designed for high-fidelity simulation of gas turbine engines and integrated aerospace systems. As an extension of EcosimPro, it adds aeronautics-specific tools like performance map handling, multipoint design, and support for SAE-standard “customer decks”, etc.
Born from the EU’s FP6 VIVACE project and later enhanced under FP7 CRESCENDO, PROOSIS has been developed in collaboration with major aerospace firms in Europe. Since its industrial launch in 2008, it has become a leading tool for modeling advanced architectures, including open-rotor, H2 injection, APUs, etc.

ASYST Component Library - A complete suite for cycle analysis and steady simulation of humid air systems, vapor cycles, hydraulic circuits and electric motors/generators in aircraft. ASYST helps you quickly evaluate concepts, improve energy efficiency and accelerate system development.
THRUST Component Library - An advanced library for transient propulsion and fluid system simulation, covering volumes, heat exchangers, chemical reactors, tanks, pumps, compressors, turbines, actuators and more. THRUST lets you model, integrate and optimize complex propulsion architectures from concept to detailed design.
Control & Systems Integration - Simulate gas turbines alongside control systems, ECS, electrical or fuel systems—and even full aircraft powerplants
Customer Deck Generation - Export models as encrypted black-box modules conforming to SAE ARP4868 and AS4191 formats.
Solver and Optimization Tools - Includes advanced solvers with algebraic and dynamic equations systems and optimization capabilities like differential evolution and SQP methods
External Connectivity - Supports co-simulation with Simulink, Excel, FMI, OPC-UA,Python, etc.
